Rebekka Nielsen is an Aarhus-based textile artist working with handcrafted fibers and spatial compositions. Her practice is rooted in an interest in how material surfaces can influence the atmosphere of a room, creating a sense of calm, softness and presence.
​
Her works are developed through an intuitive process where texture, color and structure evolve together. Using carefully selected materials, she creates pieces that respond to light and architectural surroundings, adding depth without overwhelming the space. With a background in architecture, her work is informed by a sensitivity to space, material and proportion.
​
Rather than functioning as decorative objects, the works are conceived as integrated elements within an interior — subtle yet defining, balancing tactility with restraint.
